ok, the swrily black circle thing has gotta go....now

it's too distracting, not suitable and just plain ugly

I'd review the colours you've used and the font as well, especially the font for the nav....it's just all wrong

I don't think you need that message beneath your site saying "this site is best viewed..." as a user I really hate that, I'll view the site how I like and I think using those kinda messages are old fashioned and outdated

I don't like your grid backgroud, maybe a gradient but mind you everyone is using a gradient just now

musics bad and although I think you were going for a kinda cartoony music sound I think you've failed...try www.soundrangers.com for some new music

this is your first flash site so don't be too disheartened, as I told someone else on here I think you need to do some tutorials but I also think you need to develop your design voice. Look around the web, view other flash sites, write down what you like, don't like, would have changed and eventually your own design style will emerge from this list. Good place to look is SOTW/M competitions and agencies portfolios.

to be honest I think it's back to the drawing board with this site design but it's more because of the design and not the functionality, so don't be discouraged...keep at the tuts and try to work on your design skills

some good flash tuts on these sites....

Personally, I like the BG color and I like the simplicity of the page transitions. Howver, I must agree with RabBel about both the Font and Swirley thing(particularly it's color in contrast with the Greens :stare: ) and the "...Best viewed..." statement's gotta go as well.
I am wondering what the font looks like in Arabic (it asked me to install - I declined).
On the plus side, you are definitaly off to a good start! I have been trying for months to come up with a design I like and then implement it - at least you have done so! Keep going, you'll get there!
Cheers,
Rustyd

Hey, for your first full flash site its cool.

You definitely need to go back to the drawing board for the overall graphics and make the animation more smooth and professional looking.

something else I noticed, under the services section, the next / previous buttons are reversed of what is traditional, but that obvious could be based on the native language of the main users, but keep in mind you are breaking a convention. I would drop the "pulsing" first letter of the word that marks the section the users is in, some sort of non-animated marker would work. Also within each section it is impossible to just select each subsection by clicking on it, you should change all these to buttons. I hope this helps. :sure:

It's a good start some of the elements can be taken further to improve but some elements you need to get rid of.

Menu animation is useless. Dont use any motion tweens until you really know what you are doing. When page is changed body area scales and goes away and comes back that has to go out. Also that swiral needs some work.

Initially I used to put effects just because I liked the effects. But see if it is really needed and matches the design.

I like the green color though :)

Lose the Nedstats webservice. They put secret pop unders on sites, it doesn't happen all the time, but occassionally. There are a couple of other free stat companies that don't do it. Such as shiny stats.

Hello unclesond!

I didn't understand you. Do you mean that a pop-up ads are appearing while you browse the site? If this is the case it will be a local problem on your PC, may be you have a spyware.

Also, I want to tell you that this is not a free webserver.

Please explain to me.

I got the pop-up too and I have no ad/spyware on this as I regularly check and clean up any of that rubbish off my comp.

Its your stats service that is causing the pop ups.

You use Nedstats. Or webstats4free, whatever they are called now, they are cuasing pop unders to appear when people browser your site, however it doesn't happen everytime. They've scripted it to work randomly or at specific times. Its not a problem my end, as it only happens on Nedstat sites. Their service isn't really free as they advertise in this sneaky manner. It doesn't matter if you webserver is free or paid for, if you put the nedstat code in your html page it opens up a javascript of pop under punishment. Trust me, I use to use them til I realised what they were doing. Get Shaun inman's mint if you want awesome stats See this article for the proof (http://www.sevitz.com/blog/2005/10/what_you_got_i_dont_want_no_more.asp)and this one (http://www.robcottingham.ca/20050913/free-web-statistics-dont-count-on-it)

the source of the devil code ;) Delete this and all will be well
