Need a FTP App!

I need something simple! No junk... I hate the ftp programs that come with editors and stuff. I want something made for a web designer, with quick access to permissions settings, and prefferably buttons on the toolbar for permissions.

I want one with quick connect/saved logins too.


So, what do you guys use? :sure: Anyone know of something that fits what I'm looking for?

I use Windows Explorer :P and Dreamweaver...

Transmit http://www.panic.com/transmit/ on Mac

and when I'm developing I directly connect to the servers using Dreamweaver http://www.adobe.com/products/dreamweaver/ on both Mac and PC.

FireFTP for me. FTP straight from Firefox, simple and indepth when needed.

I'll throw in another vote for SmartFTP. The interface is pretty clean also ;)

no offense to the others but switch FTP or WPS FTP is by far and away the most powerful and easy to use FTP program available today. Ive used all of those and it is by far the best.

try it and tell me what you think...there is a free trial.

I say smartFTP.
I had WS FTP ages ago, so I can't remember exactly why SmartFTP's better, but there you go.

I use smart FTP but I'm too cheap to buy it. I sometimes have to reload the app like 9 times because of the trial version message :lol:
