I have to do up a flash piece that is going to be shown on a 46" plasma tv in the front of my office. i've put stuff together for this screen before, but it always distorts or messes up in one way or another. any suggestions on stage dimentions/fps/resolution... anything would be great. i'm in a bit of a pinch and need this done for tomorrow morning, so the sooner the better! thanks!

If you're dealing with strictly vector you have nothing to worry about, just make sure the size is of the same ratio as your screen. If you are dealing with graphics they can distort. If its running locally on the screen you can get away with using larger images (of course this bumps file size but you arent dealing with web data transfer speeds). By using larger images you will be scaling them down in flash but then when you put it on a larger screen resolution and it scales itself larger you wont lose any image quality.
Test this out, put a 1280x1024 screenshot in a 800x600 flash file. Scale the image down, publish it, preview it, and zoom in. Im pretty sure you wont lose quality.

Can you be more specific about what the problem is, if you've done it before?
