hi!! i have a problem regarding animating my psd file.... can someone give me some tip on how to animate my psd file... the header has slices for navigation but if i import the psd in flash, i cant animate it... please ehelp.. tnx...

you cannot import animated images into flash, it will only show the first frame. However, you can export all frames on the animation into a folder and import them individually into flash, then animate them in there:)

so u mean, i have to separate my buttons in a separate psd file then i'm gonna work with the animation and assemble them in flash?

Yes that's what he means. Or you can export to other formats that psd.

I think if you export your psd as an animated gif and import that into flash it will break the animation into a movieclip and each frame will have its own graphic.

Animate it in Image Ready then export the image sequence into flash. Flash will automatically detect it is part of a sequence and add the other key frames and symbols accordingly.

In photoshop export layers to JPG and each individual layer will become seperate, this will help you animate it in flash.

one way just import the psd in to flash. have the images on different layers and it will detect it. then just do your typical frame by frame animation there.
