Hey guys, not sure if this has been asked before, or if it's something simple... but When ever I try to convert files using iTunes, whether i be from wma or whatever, or movie to iPod format, I get NO sound at all. In the case of movies, i get visual but no audio.. any ideas?

Have you got the latest version of iTunes?
Try playing around in the preferences...

iTunes music is protected by DRM, that's why you can't 'mod' them.

Yeah but iTunes won't actually let you convert protected songs, it just gives you an error message.

yes, i have the latest.. and there's no error message, its converts, just no sound.. hence, with my movies, i can see, but NOT hear.
:)Any ideas?:ne:

iTunes really isn't the greatest at converting files, it's far better at playing and organizing them. What specifically are you trying to do? If it's just trying to get video to your iPod, I'd take a look at iLounge (http://www.ilounge.com) they've got some great articles and tutorials on doing that.

I didn't know you could convert videos using iTunes...
I use Videora iPod Converter, it's pretty cool.
