this is my site that I picked back up and now its nearly finnished but the more I do to it the less I like it could someone have a look at it and tell me what you think of it.

its not finnished yet but have a look let me know what you think

i liked it simple and clean, could do that in html + java...

Needs a lot of improvement.

The "Enter" text has jagged edges and is not looking nice. Plus, it has an offset and the position of it on the page is awkward. You should center it.

The main interface is clean and simple. Efficient. But the font you have chosen to display the description contents is too bold. That font is good for the topic titles, items and all. But for actual descriptions it's too shabby.

FPS should be increased considerably. Your interface slugs (like the pulling out menus and all).

Nothing more.

Your background image file loops. You'll have to make it bigger. I like the aesthetics of it overall and the colors are well chosen, but there are some bits that need polish. Especially in the animation.

Actually i think you're right, it does seem a little overworked. It doesn't convey creativity and innovation, like you say in your header.

Agree with thelonephoenix on the font issue(s).

I don't understand what you need a pullout menu for though - there's plenty of space.

If this was my page, I'd start making the menu more exciting.

Im going to put some thing on the front of that asap. this is going to be my portfolio is this the kind of thing should be going for is it just not good enough?

it seems that everything is compacted in such a small space...i find it hard to read.
i like the colors used, especially the tiled bg
i find it good, but not that great:)

yeah i thought about increasing the size of the actual pages but I didnt like it. I thought it was neat and tidy this size.

the more I do on this the more I want to start a fresh I have loads of ideas.

Keep working on it. I think the animation could be a bit smoother, especially on the intro. You could also make outro transition effects.
