Here's my entry. My magazine is called "HISTORIAR", a portuguese word, which in english means "to make history". The magazine's about history from all over the world and every timeline of great happenings, legends, myths, kings, and many more. I decided to give it a "history" look with classic fonts and a statue from my city Lisbon.

Oh, Lisbon...so many great photographic opportunities there :)
And it's a great image you've chosen too. If I was editor of this magazine I'd like the concept but I'd really want to introduce a bit of colour somewhere...perhaps make the star red or maybe encapsulate the title in a coloured banner. All the great magazines that have used b&w pictures will still have some kind of colour on their cover, just to catch the eye. Think of National Geographic with its yellow border, Life with its title enclosed in a red box, or Blue with its colourful title.
Apart from that though, it's a very neat cover design.

Thank you for your comments! ^^
Yeah, maybe it needs more color... It's too grey. But, I don't know if once submited, I can edit the image?
