the first movie that made me cry was probably Fly Away Home.

yeah, that movie touched me as well. and as for sequels, Disney does the worst job for them. i say the best attempt they made was probably the second Aladdin.

Iron Giant!
I had tears in my eyes. Very unusual for me.
Of course they ruined it by having the robot re-compose itself.
I hate it when they make you feel stupid for caring about the character.

it was crazy how many people were crying in the theater when we saw that. I went with this asian friend of mine and she was asking a lot of questions through the movie so I dont think she completely -got it- but otherwise Id say about 90% of the people who were there (theater maybe about 1/3 full) were crying at the end of that movie.
Same with Saving Private Ryan, but that was understandable, especiially when virtually everyone in that theater were in their like 70s. They had all the reason in the world to cry for that film.

I have never cried because of a movie. I start to feel sad when an animal dies in a movie, but I have never actually cried because of it...

Morning all. :)
One of my friends at University went and saw Titanic about four times, so she could see the bits she missed the previous time because she was crying too much.
Never saw the film myself, although I was one of the few that was hoping they'd both drown... :P

Glad it wasn't just me then. :)
I don't know why everyone made such a fuss of that movie... DiCaprio isn't all that. Winslet is OK, but the film itself is just... Pants.

I found titanic quite good actually, just too long. It was an OK movie though not my favorite...
One of the movie which made me cry the most was probably ET - (and Bambi of course)

Everyone cried at Bambi. It's very traumatic when you're six tyears old. :)

I saw an episode of family guy when they're spoofing titanic... the chick goes "I'll never let go Jack" and she lets go... jack goes underwater for a while, but then swims back up and says "What the hell is wrong with you???"

Family Guy did that very well, made me laugh too. :)
Futurama did a spoof of it as well, with Bender falling for a posh robot. :P

Wow! I havent seen a single sad movie on this list.
A.I. , o.k. a bit sad.
Titanic? Leonardo was in it. That makes want to cry, but then I really lauged at THE BEACH (one of my bottom 100)
If you would like a night of tears. Try these:
The Champ (very very old, when Ricky Schroder was like 5 years old)
My life (OMG!!! Cried like a little girl)
Simon Birch
SlingBlade
Cider House Rules
Life is Beautiful (I was so shaken up, I had to leave the theater).
Scene in The Abyss with MariElizabeth mastrantonio and Ed Harris
I know there's more.. but this will get you started. If you watch ALL of these and do not cry, it is time to go see the Wizard.

I didn't read through the posts so I dunno if it has been mentioned: "Rudy"
That one still gets me going... I guess I love a story about the under-dog... plus I'm short too and I quit my senior year of football..... only to lift weights every day and then get asked to come back, but refused just to stick it to 'em. Yeah I know I'm stubborn, but I also love to prove a point! :)
Peace
