umm... great inspiration, but i don't really like the mag cover:) I think it's that quasi-aqua blue.

Ah yes, I understand the comment about the blue.

To be honest, this doesn't look at all like a magazine cover to me. It looks far more like a poster that's advertising a magazine or a design competition - having said that, it is a very good poster image so well done on that.

There are some grammatical problems with the headlines but they're easily fixed - "you" should be "you've" (although I'm not sure that "stuff" would be immediately obvious to most potential readers) and software shouldn't be pluralised.
That final headline would really need some work though - using "ur" instead of "your" wouldn't be acceptable on the cover of any magazine unless it was promoting an article on mobile phone texting and I don't understand why it finishes with an ampersand..."Now get ready to raise your hand and"...and what?

So yeah, it's a great poster (take away the price and barcode, and change the "magazine" to a date and venue and you'll see what I mean) but not really a magazine to my eye. Hope that's useful feedback for you.

lot of corrections..well may be next time i will come with something that will look like a magazine cover..and so i can send it for a poster contest great..
and now get ready and raise your hand is not incomplete..if you have looked at it clearly you would have got the answer..there is a transperent arrow(not almost)pointing out to magazine name i.e challeneg it..
so it is lie this ..(get ready to raise your hand & challenge it)

Ahhhh...I see the arrow now you've pointed it out!

Don't get me wrong, I do like the inspirational image - I just don't think it works as a magazine cover for me personally. But I'm not one of the judges so best of luck with your entry :D
