Magazine for the designers

This is very coool contest.
I have always wanted to make such things but never got time to do so.
With this contest and some others on Kirupa I've entered the graphics field too. Hope the entry is worth for nomination.

nice design... but I would suggest improving on top left corner of the magazine...

I think screen capture quality and some shadows are the things what I can think of now...

I would keep that CD where it was... dont move it to center...

I still dont think it looks like a magazine layout, more of a poster.

the first one is a good start and looks like a magazine but top header is taking away the uniformity... because you organized your other content well vertically below the screenshot... but top is very much inclined...

So if you redo top... it will come great...

The cover is to empty at the bottom too. I think you should put something next to that barcode.
