Hi!
I wonder how does ppl make those "lights" following a imported ps design?
e.g
A ps design of a railway track or road... then flash makes those lights following the road... making it as if a electrical volt pass through it..
PLs enlighten me..

i think that you would use motion tweens to make this effect.

hmmm.. so this means that u can't import the WHOLE design inside ?
U must break it up... before doing anything to it ?? SO that u can use it as a mask.

what you need to do is get the picture done in PS or whatever proggie you use, then make the animation in flash. of course you can't import the whole thing because PS isn't capable of flash animation. So... if you were doing a light moving along a track, get the track pic, import to flash, then create (or import) the picture of the light, and tween it along the path :)
not sure what you're saying about masks... the two things should be separate objects
