Hi!

I would love it if you would take a look at our video promoting our eBay auction, and our web site, and tell us what you think?
As well, I would love some feedback on our site! It's my first real attempt at producing a short video!
So that you can see how it's used, here is the auction...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...item=9508930999
The video is available on our site (where you can see the layout) at http://www.kilimanjaro2006.com/video2.html

Three questions for anyone who can take the time to answer...
What do you think about the video? Funny? Fun? Interesting?
Does anyone know of more ways to bring more traffic to the auction?
How about the layout of Kilimanjaro2006.com? I know it needs aesthetic improvement, but is the navigation straightforward?

Thanks!
Jonathan

I think the video is too long, it took a long time to load, I got the idea!
no ideas of how to take more traffic to your auction are coming to my brain right now.
Kilimanjaro2006.com you know it needs improvement… you can navigate but it need too much work…
and the last thing I'm using a mac and the link takes me to a media player video, hopefully there's another link think about mac users and the first link is not working for me!

Thanks so much for taking the time to provide your feedback! I haven't even looked at the page from a MAC, so it's good to know that you're not able to see it.

Good to know as well that the video was taking too long to load.

Is there something specific as far as the layout of the site that you would like to see changed?

Thank-you again!

Hi All! Thanks for your continued feedback!

We have a new video, have moved the sponsorship in-house, and are still working on improving the layout. The video should be MAC accessible by Wednesday via the magic of Google Video... We have only 84 spots left available, which we added to the "Sponsor" link... What do you think of the changes so far?

hate to say this and I wish you guys well on the climb but your text at the start of the movie using the Joey&Chandler reasoning for climbing the thing is a bit lame

people climb it everyday, why can't we?

people die on it everyday as well you know.....sorry it just seems a bit dismissive...like you guys think this is gonna be easy or you're not properly prepared

I wish you guys all the luck in the world but you need to just tinker with the opening lines on the movie

That's an interesting perspective. I had not really thought that the text could be read from that approach. We certainly didn't mean it that way, and we definitely are kicking our butts at the gym (5+ miles/day), because the mountain is a test in adversity.

The intention was that it should be read more along the lines of "You could sponsor any climber of Kilimanjaro. In fact, you could spend $100 anywhere. Why should you sponsor us? What will be the benefit for you?"

Heck, maybe I'll just use that text. What do you think?
