Ok I got a situation and wasn't sure if I should post it here or somewhere else.
Anyone know how to make an explosion affect in swift 3d? Imostly looking for a fire affect. Or if anyone knows how to make water drip off of an object or anything like this. Should i be using another program?

it's impossible

unles you model each and every pixel of the flame/explosion by hand

What about 3d studio max? Will this program do it?

yes, 3dsmax has the basics for a decent explosion.. nothing realistic though..

the fact that you area sking if 3dsmax is capable means you wouldnt know how to..

The particle modifier (I think thats its name) will probably create a pretty good explosion and you can map that as well :)
