My latest project is a design for a kennel that's based here in Sweden.
I took a look at their old site, which is aweful, and set up the following goals; simple, straight to the point and fresh.
At first I concidered doing it all in XHTML/CSS, but then decided to go with Flash since it's more fun and I saw it as an oppertunity to gain more knowledge.

Some quick notes;

- The mouseovers in the 'breeds' section isn't displayed correctly in Firefox.
For some reason the 'over' state moves the chihuahua up and the coton to the left. I've tried fixing it and even redid the whole page, but to no avail.
However seeing as 100% of the sites targeted audience is using IE it's not a big problem.

- The Gallery is not made by me, it's made by Rhamej here on the forums.
I chose it because I thought it fit in nicely with my design and I can't create a gallery of my own yet due to lack of knowledge.

I guess that's all.
Here you can find the site: http://www.azmirskennel.com
And here's the old one: http://www.azmirskennel.com/oldsite/
for those of you who wants to take a look at it, it won't be online for long though (the old one that is).

much nicer than the old version! Looks good, functional and does the job, I'm just not a fan of them cutsey dogs...

when I looked at it in Firefox; chihuaha: no prob, coton: moves left.

I didn't realise Flash renders different in Firefox and IE too... I'm having flashbacks of css/html/javascript nightmares with those two browsers...

Gallery is fine, but I'd probably change the purple highlight color to keep it in theme with the rest of the site

Thanks a lot for your comments!
Altough I was hoping for a bit more replies than this, maybe this little bump will fix that.

mawooshen: That's odd, it looks perfectly fine for me and the client in IE and only messes up in FF.
Either way it currently seems unfixable and she told me to just leave it as it is, but perhaps I'll rework the whole page once again and cross my fingers.

hybrid101: Thanks, mate! :)

I like it! Yeah, I use firefox and I'm getting the moving picture bug too. Weird that it does that.

wow... you really just plugged your images into josh's gallery and went with it... id say you should alter it a wee bit more.

The gallery was actually already done, I just forgot to upload that swf along with some pictures and a pedigree image.
All been fixed now though.

matthew: Yeah I thought about doing that, but the site owner wanted it in a new window.
Which I've fixed now.

Willofdarkness: Ah the drama.

Thanks a lot for all your comments, appreciate it!

I noticed there's no real visual feedback when you rollover the links on the nav. Besides that great job:)
