Hey,

I was wondering if anyone could help.

I was wondering if anyone know how to get a zooming effect... have a look at SoFake (http://www.sofake.com) .

I can imagine how half the stuff can be done, but I'm not sure about the transitions. If you press the last button for example, and then the first button it plays through the whole lot.

Thanx for any help and or suggestions

Well, I just did a zooming/scrolling menu a few days ago.

Check it out here (http://www.twc.sshunet.nl/~swmvanbo/MT/flash/) in the 'playground' section.

Maybe it helps...

Dank je! Ik moet hem alleen nog wat meer vullen met foto's, flash-experimentjes etc.

or to keep it in English:
Thanks! I still need to add more images, flash-experiments etc. though.

Cheers :)

Couldn't it just be a motion tween with a super-huge image file?

that's what i thought, BUT... if you press the last button, and then the first button it plays through the whole lot... if you then press a button somewhere in the middle it plays through whatever it should to get there...

Flashmatazz helped a bit, but i still want to be able to zoom without it zooming out as in the example by Flashmatazz...

???

Instead of using Flash for zooming into the image, you can use JavaScript. That way you avoid compatibility issues (people that don't have Flash or disable it).

This JavaScript image zoom script displays a high resolution image when the user rolls over a thumbnail image. Works a treat :)
