Hey...its not the most technical site ever, but hey...i'm not the most technically minded. But if anyone has any thoughts on it, constructive criticism, ideas, art direction/inspirational sites, let me know.I'm very much into lo-fi meets hi-fi. And if you like it visit, restlesslist.co.uk. Art direction is admittedly my prefered thang. Cpin

nice one, nice colors.
Overall, the main problem is, some of the pictures are too crispy.
But good one..

It's beautiful. Here are my suggestions:
1. Don't have a click-to-enter page. If you have to, make the enter button even more obvious.
2. Please add a preloader. I didn't see one.
3. The text is slightly hard to read against the gray grid. I would either bump up the text size just a bit or make the gray a bit lighter.
4. The text will be hard to read for people with not-so-good vision. This is a common problem (and you can see it on my current site too), but something to think about.
5. When you click on artists, the bands names are clickable. On the next page, it looks like the individual people names should be clickable. I'd do something more to distinguish clickable text from non-clickable....
6. ... like on the Live page. That text in pink looks like it should be a link.
7. Looks great though. I like the snowflake things going upwards.

umm I don't really think the snow flakes go with the general style.... and I'd add a preloader too...
Very original though ! :nat:

hey thanks for the posts. Will take note of all, have ment to do the preloader but have just been lazy getting round to it. The snowflakes upwards is a point of contention for some, namely my girlfriend, but they give a organic alive feeling...but i intend to work something more relevant in. Tanks again

i'd make the background flow for the whole window, and not just end and go to white

I really liked the style of the site and i want to help you out with suggestions :)
^The buttons, i think the same transition, but faster, would fix that
- Add transitions on the content. When you click the content it just appear as an html page. Make it simple, nothing hard. It just to give it a more dynamic feeling.
All the other things lok good. Nice job:)

so...i've sped up the frames per sec...and will eventually get round to putting up a loading bar. I was wondering about the buttons, i would prefer them to roll all the way out and then disappear again if you werent still rolled over them, or stay rolled out if you were still hovering over them...at the moment they roll out only for long as you are rolled over them, and then reverse themselves. Does anyone know the script for that?
But all the comments are very useful. Will definitley work on transition for each page, lazy flash designer me...thanku thou
