You are at the right place...

:/

Well, I have been working on this one for a long time. It took 'a lot of time' from me.. Everything is handpainted, which takes ten times longer.

While commenting please keep these this in mind:

***The resolution is big. It is how it is supposed to be. I will make it so that it will pop-up in full screen. I know not many people like full screens but hey, you wouldn't judge the Christmas Gift Package by looking at it's size, right? And even bigger is better.***

And I would love it if you could rate it like, out of 10 let's say.

Thank you a lot, I love you all :tie:

You have to click here!!! (http://www.ozelegemezun.com/site/site.html)

Get rid of the Click enter. and the word spirit should be trasition to blue once its loaded not yellow/green.

And the email needs description on what goes in each box.

Great work love the look and functionality very original.

* Some people had trouble entering the site, that is why I had to put that 'click to enter' sign.

*Shoutbox forms are done. Now they have descriptions.

*Blog font is meant to be that way because that part of the website reflects the 'backstreet' look. Just like each part has it's own from a city view (roads, sidewalks, pier etc.)

Now change the spirit thing to either a rainbow gradiant or a dark blue shade.

honeslty man...it sucks...
im joking lol. i like it alot besides the fact that you used caps lock on this thread and that im using a 800 by 600 and thats way to big.
so please make a 800 by 600 for peeps like me
and never use caps lock on the thread title
good job tho:krazy:

I edited the thread title so it wasnt IN ALL CAPS.

Please don't post thread titles in all caps, it's just annoying to other members and tends to disrupt the flow of the forums!

Thanks,
Mike

i like how youve deviated from the standard navigation bars etc that are all to common...looks and feels pretty good...

personally i dont mind the click to enter - but it should stay blue! it shouldnt just jump to green....

As mentioned its no good for people who are using 800x600 resolution...tho i think the central part of the design would easily fit into a browser window on an 800x600, its just when everything is all opened up.

i dont kno, it might be good if the 'focus' of the page moved around when you clicked on a specific button like gallery, to ensure that always the user has in focus the centre section (as it contains the nav buttons) and the current section being viewed...currently the centre + one section approx. = 730 pixels wide...if you could cut it down a little even a person on an 800x600 pc could view enough relevant screen area to keep em happy

Bit difficult to make out the text on the "Gallery" Button compared to the others. "Blog", "Me" & "Public" are all light fonts up against dark backgrounds whereas Gallery is a light font up against a light background.

The navigation is very uniqe, I like it. But the rollOvers aren't working correctly at least for me. I have problems finding the right place for my mouse to open the sections... Anyone else having this problem with the site?

apart from the enter button it looks good BUT what resolution you make this for?? I'm on 1280*1024 and its got vertical scrollbar visible so I would say shave some empty space off and make it fit on my screen.

* Sorry about the heading with the all-in-caps. I figured that it would bother people so I tried to change it but it didn't. Anyway, thanks.

* If you click on the link one more time you can see that it changed, but, this is the best that I can do. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I'd be glad to try them.

(Actually I'm on 1280*768 but still I have to scroll. I just did not think scrolling down or to the side would be a big issue.)

I think except some other little details, this is pretty much set. But please keep on commenting since it helps me see the little issues that I can't see by myself.

Thank you

no need for a popupwindow.... just let it load in the main window. and if your gonan keep the popup, it is very screwed up because you have to scroll down and to the right. really nice layout, the design aspect is amazing, but the functionality is hurting

So, the only thing that decreases the point for functionality is the site being very large, am I right?

Flash 8, maybe? Or.. you did not enable the pop-ups?

The site looks like you have put a lot of effort into making it.
Just that after the swf in the popup window finishes loading and you press the "enter" btn... it doesn't do anything...
Also noticed the fact that the btns in the main page doesn't work 20 % of the time...might be a problem with the hit area of the btns ? No clue:puzzled:

Then again these are just small bugs... the site itself looks good

1-No pop up...its too small for the site anyway.
2-Fix fonts, too many types going on.
3-I don't really like the nav, it brings up too many things on screen at once.It detracts from what you suppose to be looking at. In a way you should be saying "look at me" instead it feels like you want us to see everything at once, which kills the punch of it. I'd consider only being allowed to see one section at a time....this would solve your site being too big.
4- I had rollover problems too...

* In my opinion with the popup, it is bigger. Well, yes, it is not enough, and unless you have a plazma screen, it will be small, but it just makes it better.

* Actually there are 2 different kinds of fonts used. I just played with it's settings. And actually, because each section's style is different, I can't see the problem, but I will try to play with that, thanks for the advice.

* Please do not confuse this with a professional web site. It is meant to be a little portfolio, actually, I made this site just to be able to make this design. I had this design but I did not have the content, so I converted it into a portfolio. Since each section covers only a small part of the screen, I don't think it distracts at all. Just try to look at it as a whole.

I will work on rollovers.

Thank you very much.

Most people have 1280x1024 ish you shld always design around that at a maxium really. With a browser open that number is more like 1000x1000 if your lucky. I actually have more room in my browser than the pop up allows. So the site would be viewed without scrollbars on in my browser. If yor going to make a popup it should be able to house your site.

I can count at least 8, and this isn't including fonts in full caps...there are 6 or 7 without even opening a section

* I think pop-up size is ok right now. I also added a button for those with pop-up blocker.

Working on the fonts.

Thank you again for all your suggestions.

edit: I can't play with headers. They are the most suitable font types for each section. The content types are all Franklin Gothic Medium.

I have to concur with everyone's comments.

The biggest thing I found, that made me leave right away, was it was SO SLOW. I don't know if it's because (are you?) using all those flash 8 effects like drop shaddow or what, but I couldn't even do anything. You need to optimize this puppy. It's not just my computer, I've been to plenty of sites that have more bang for the cpu usage.

But nice design none the least, of what I was able to see.

Dog-E

This is weird. It is the first time I've heard this problem.

Actually there is only one Flash 8 layering effect which is on the text, "What it is all about". As I told before everything is handpainted which means none of the shadows, effects or anything you see on the site are results of vectorized calculations. So, that:

...I don't know if it's because (are you?) using all those flash 8 effects like drop shaddow or...

is almost impossible.

So far, it is only you, but, please if there is anyone else having the same problem, tell me and I will try to find a solution but I believe, despite what you said, it might be your computer.

Hey Yeah Whohoo! I can finally see it! :bu: :h:

Looks verry nice, i like the glow effect within the preloader, too bad you didnt use that in the layout.
Also, i think the rollovers are still a bit unhandy.. but aww

i dont like clickin enter twice, and umm why not a normal browser window, would be less annoyin, but other than that good job

Because of the size of the page and the resolution problem we have been talking about.

And actually this is not a web site you would visit everyday, so I am not sure if that matters too much.
