Yep some new boards from the graphics card giants Nvidia.

The 7900 series is out just recently and look pretty good.
I read a little details at toms hardware and interestingly the 7900 GT was said to be as good if not better than the 7800 GTX.. pretty good.

The boards are basically similar structures/same ram to the 7800 series but will less/smaller transitors resulting in a cooler running temp.

check the tom's link for info which has info about the ati cards as well::

also with all new boards, nvidia release new drivers and i generally always update my drivers to the latest without much issues at all.

yeah always a good thing about new technology is that the older boards most of time get cheaper. You can pick up a top card that runs most current games at a high level for dirt cheap these days. I'm loving the ati push as well because then nvidia can't sit on their bum, same deal with intel and amd.. its all good for us consumers
