Sup guys,

Just took a little time to play around with Photoshop.

I used two photos to make this. The first one was of a naked woman ...and the setting was very different. I made clothes for her just using the lasso tool, and my imagination. Then I applied some lighting effects and satin layer property. I took a neat background and put her on there. Then I duplicated her, did a black color overlay, applied a blur, distorted it, then used it as a shadow, so it actually looks like she's there. I'm impressed with myself because I didn't use any tutorial or anything.

Anyway, just thought I'd share...you can use it as your desktop if you like. And since this is my first photoshop background, please give me comments/criticism...how can I improve?

I do have in mind to maybe change the color of the bikini, to match the shoes, or the "blue" theme.

sure...you're at school now?

actually, i tried but the max file size for the attachments is 74k. my file is around 800kb.

so here it is on my geocities: http://www.geocities.com/hoomannoori03/bluv1_desktop.jpg

by the way, if you're at school...the desktop has a picture of girl in a bikini...not sure if you'd want to try opening it anyway. ;)

Its pretty easy on the eye ;)

Overall its a pretty good job, the only element I'd remove is the logo (maybe her bikin too :p:i), it just looks out of place (the logo that is )...but thats your choice.

I'd try to tweak a few things on her, at a glance she looks well photoshopped in, but when you begin to think about the light, shadows and her bikini, i think there are some areas that need a bit of refining and finishing off to make it look ultra nice. For example her hands when they meet the hand rail look like they've been PS'd. Also the lighting on her perhaps needs more tweaking, im not convinced the shadow on her right (our left) leg at the top should be there. Also take a look at her feet, as she's in a shadow, however the shadow doesn't infringe on her feet...

Good job tho (-:

Her right hand doesnt sit well on the rail. basically everything else unclesound said.

Very nice work.

and please make the shadow more defined.
Don't blur it, it will really make it obvious
that it's photoshoped.

Compare it from the shadow on the podium.

...and I like the bikini thinner. :thumb:

hey thanks for all the comments/criticism!

especially unclesond, you make some really good points, i'll work on those. yeah, templ / kyo, i'll also work on the hand and rail and make the shadow crisper.

i guess the consensus is making the bikini smaller, which i'll do also. ;)

thanks guys, i'll be posting a second version soon :D
