I just noticed that I have a 6gig partition called 'Linux' on my laptop :D I don't want it there, so I figured I could download a trial version of partition magic and just fix it, but in the trial you can't change anything :(
Do you guys know any free software to delete/resize/merge/create partitions? My LAN teacher has a version of it, but I don't want to wait until tuesday...
Thanks in advance =)

not really, the only options to remove or resize partitions without harming other data are $$

There has been a recent development in this case:

I tried it after all... You have to burn a CD and then boot from it :( I wish I had my Ubuntu live disc here :D

I had that same problem. What you can do is, go to Start | Run and enter compmgmt.msc. You can delete the partition, format it as NTFS, give it a new Drive letter, and use it like you would any other disk drive.
If you want to merge the new partition with your primary C: partition, you will need to use a 3rd party program such as Partition Magic :nat:
