Oh, on a slightly related topic, I had a drink with an ex of mine the other day (we're still friends you see). He's been dumped by his bonkers girlfriend and booted out of her house. #1 if men became extinct and women ruled the world i can almost guarantee that a. we would stop shaving and b. women's magazines would become obsolete.

most of the garbage in women's magazines is about how to improve yourself so as to attract the best mate. furthermore, women's magazines were not designed FOR women. they were design FOR men. here's why. half of the magazines are just fasion ads with perfect half naked women. generally, women aren't drawn to half naked other women. it's the MEN who these ads are targetd for. men see these mags in waiting rooms, in the store, at their girlfriends house, all different places. if i had a dime for everytime i saw a man flipping through a women's mag, i'd be able to buy the internet. hehe. these ads and such are designed to catch MEN'S eyes. just look at victori's secret for one. it's like the bible for adolescent young men. it's easily obtainable, and sexy. the men look at them, they see something that they like, then their girlfriend sees that they like it, and they buy it to please their man. also, look at the staff of a woman's magazine. the majority will me men, not women, so women aren't imposing these things. it's the men. FURTHERMORE, there would be no need for all these things that we feel we have to do for you guys if we didn't constantly hear and see men talkign about the hot models and sexy **** goddesses in the world, and make us feel inferior to them because of their hot buns and whatnot. and the **** industry is run by men.
plus, look online for a few gender specific jokes. most of the ones you find about women are in regards to their appearence, while most of the ones you find about men are in regards to their intelligence and their emotion, ro lack of. this is more evidence of the way the sexes are percived in society.

When I am at my girlfriends house if there is one laying around I will have a look - for the exact reason Golgi said - to look at the barley legal woman inside :) I'm not going to deny it - they are attractive.
