Thanks,

Could you bring it inline with the bottom of the main page?

Would the site look betteron a white background? mmm

I think the site should be centered. All that empty space at the bottom is distracting.

It's designed for an 800x600 screen resolution. That is what most of their users have.

But you can still make it so that it centers the site on the users screen no matter what resolution they're running at.

I think that would make it work better. Here is an example html file you can *cough* borrow (http://www.wpdfd.com/editorial/thebox/deadcentre4.html)

black green and blue aren't good colors. use behr color smart and find some that look nice together (www.behr.com). You have to be careful with a black background like that, in this case it makes it look uninviting. The green bars in combination with the music make me think of Vegas or something with the neon lights, not a nice tennis club.

Try using some sort of texture for the background (like a tennis court) or even a light gray. Definitely center it too.

You could also play with some of the transitions, there are a lot of possibilities with a theme like tennis balls.

The site isnt that bad though, I'm just trying to find things that you can improve on and learn from.

Cheers,

As far as the colors go, I can't change them, they are their "corporate" colors. I would like to add a textured background, but I can't figure out hoe to create a pattern overlay in Flash.

Keep them coming.

I think 3D Nirvanna is right, Green and blue could work....but not with the black background. Tennis i always think is quite a sexy, summery, colourful sport, the black background really saps that life out of it. There are so many amazing photos you get get of tennis related things that would make amazing backgrounds. For example

1 (http://www.flickr.com/photos/thompson/54028894/)
2 (http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=52444190&size=o)
3 (http://www.flickr.com/photos/46232797@N00/53497652/)
4 (http://www.flickr.com/photos/digitalverve/35937067/)

Maybe they're not full stage backgrounds....but a centred window with a white background....if your not offended I could post what i mean by 5mins of photoshop....

Here is a centred html file for your content. It should work, however I never tested with your swf.

Also sorry to recommend another tut site, but this one is great if you want to do a tiled background with centred flash content - click on Full Browser Flash (http://www.gotoandlearn.com)
