All criticism and tips are welcome.. I've been struggling to put a lot of drawing features into the thing, even without the best of ways to save it (at least not till 8.5 hits the shelves).

Impressive...seen lots like it especially FlashPaint ... but this one is good too! :thumb:

Yes, FlashPaint is very nice. I've tried to take this one in another direction, though. FlashPaint is vector based, while I render everything to bitmaps. I've also tried to make it more powerful, through introducing the brush interpolation and hardness parameters.

Has anyone got any suggestions for the site, apart from design issues (I'll be redoing that as soon as the beta has been completed)?

add more tools, maybe, like text and stuff
and the colors of the layout are a bit too bland for a painting site, why not make it colorful:)?

I think he may have been making it a neutral backdrop color for any color to look appreciable with. :sigh:
