I got my first Mac february of last year, when the first Minis came. My dad used to program on NeXTSTEP (now osx), but that was before I was born, and I never saw one of those computers.

The power problem… well… we've taken everything off the desk, re-stabalized it, as it was about to fall apart, by placing a thick 2x4 between two of the three legs along the wall (the other leg had a board between it and the center, against the wall, too). Now, we're running 'em horizontal cable things to get the wires organized, and we've split the surge protector in two (well, we got two surge protectors so we now have twice as many ports with fewer things on each), and they're running to different sockets. Currently, the glue stuff my brother used is drying, and everything is on the floor in the other side of the room. Oh, and my cat is in the tiny MacBook Pro box.
