this was an assignment for my art direction class - to interpret song lyrics into a visual piece.

what do you guys think?

Looks cool :thumb2: , black red and white looks good. Any chance to a link or a higher res one? I wanna look in more detail

the PDF version is 8mb... i'll make a higher res but not too high res version later.

i am diggin it. is it pretty clear though what's behind him? cause it's important that it be recognizable what he's standing amidst.

8mb is perhaps a bit extreme ;) I was hoping for something just high enough res to read the text.

I just refreshed myself with the song, but Im rubbish at figuring out what they're saying. Been a while since i listened to Interpol. It looks like a a set of LEDs mingled in with view looking up skyscrapers, perhpas not sure why the form takes that shape, maybe it isn't significant...hopefully when i figure out the lyrics I'll be able to interpret the background better. I guess i could google them :sigh:

the skyscrapers were the most important part..

we were supposed to capture mood, not neccesarily meaning.

opps (-: I was trying to read too much into it then. Well it seems a pretty successful piece in my mind, I wouldn't change anything

I dig it, it definitely suits the feeling of the song and is visually appealing.

eeeeh. Interpol of one of my fave bands! Cool imagery too...looks really polished within the grunge style of things. cool stuff :b:
