do you mean around the background picture? you think that would help?

It's looking good. There is some odd clipping occuring on the right side for me. (see attachment.) The slider that gets you between pieces is for some reason a little awkward for me. It isn't too bad, but it's definately a little jumpy, and it doesn't always work. On some of them it scrolls significantly past where the actual buttons end. The clipping is happening on most all of the pages, for example the links page says, "links coming so" with half of the "o" cut off.

I think the dropshadow idea isn't a bad one, it might lift it off the page a bit and give it some depth.
