First off, the site is great. I loved just strolling through it and gawking at it.:+)

Now down to business...
The main page (where you choose day or night) might look better centered vertically, but I dont know how it would look.

Im at school and on a slow computer(a Dell Precision 220) and the buttons are awsome, but a little laggy.(will try them on my cable connection at home...)

Other than those, the site is beautiful. Great Job!:+)

I will try laying it out differently... thank you so much for your comments...I know that the site is slow a bit for now, for me was important to put the content online, now I will try optimizing each module and speeding it up a bit...

The Day and Night modes idea is really clever and cool.. love it
The sound is RIGHT ON.. its so perfect for your site
the effects are also very cool, tho I think there should be a little more variation when you go between sections

I like it...

1. I think it'll be great if you can actually make the night and day more unique. It seems like both are basically the same thing except for the light and dark bg.

2. Site seems very sluggish. I'm on broadband connection / P4.
So I don't think it's my computer. Those 3d buttons are eating up alot of cpu resources.

At average it's 50%, but after I click the links (during transition)
it peaks @ a whopping 95%.

I think you're gonna have to tone that down a bit. It is nice and all, but a silky smooth streamlined usability is more important in my opinion.

Other than those 2 minor things.. It's great.. =)

the idea about two different vision...came to me as a dream :) believe it or not, I was like...I got a do that...I think my idea is out there...I just have to like you say... make it more stand out....great idea! I appriciate it!

I had to take one water effect out which was jamming my site because the effect has been made frame by frame over 40 screenshoots, I saved 550k by putting that effect out.

runs faster without it!

sense...you dont make sense...everything on my site is mine....designined....produced...developed....prog rammed....inspired by derbauer....yes a bit...and those buttons, yes they can be done and they are not copy paste...u figure

I like it, it doesn't seem too slow on my comp since I'm on a fast machine. I thought everything was put together quite nicely and the concept is creative. I like sites that break out of the linear mold and this one definitely broke out of the box. Good job. =)

everything takes way to darn long, and what if i change my mind after i choose a link? i have to waaaaaaaait forever for all the buttons to load/reload and do all the animation... you should make some way to speed it up or create a skip button...

nice site MrMass. One thing i'm finding annoying is that the intro to the button happens everytime you go back to the main menu, maybe have a different effect , like a swooping scale from the little image of the menu to the normal size menu buttons. It just that when you want to quickly navigate through your site you have to always wait for the buttons animation. other than that great stuff ! :)

Inspired is good. And it is not a copy and paste. But it is simply the same. Ok, the shape is kinda different. But this is to obvious... :)
Be inspired, but find your own style.
This shouldn't be offending, otherwise your site is great....

great Idea, I love it! I have a good concept in my mind, is just that I need some time....its a really good idea, even my dad which is right now in Sarajevo, Bosnia he cant view my site because they are on 56k, and he has problems installing flash :)
lol anywhays...I will really think about it and will try to come up with some concept very soon!

Hm, I just wanna give you a nice advise. I mean if someone from derbauer.de would see it........ They don't like stuff like that believe me. And it seems to me that you are a really advanced webdesigner and especially because of that fact, you shouldn't have such similarity's with other webdesigner sites.
