My Photoshop Fun

Well today my dad came hoem with a book by Scott Kelby called "Photoshop Classic Effect", and i must say it is a excellent book, i was browing throught it and picked up alot of new ideas, and well it got me in the mood for some pshopping. So here my image.

hmm, few things need attention seb.

The grid is too thick at the moment and also the sqauare are too large, the text on the top just looked like it was droped there. and the overall effects needs to be worked on.

You should have a focal point or some depth of field and motion for the piece. It looks too 2d at the moment, possibly masking out the street and applying a slight blur at the start to more extreme at the end for example.

The sign is much like the text on the top and just looked placed without consideration, with the overall blurring effect effecting the whole image the sign looks way out of place and the drop shadow dosent help since it gives the look of like it is standing in front of a photo of a street.

need to work on it more, ive kept in mind you are just having fun with photoshop, but that dosent mean you cant get a little serious with the piece ;)
