These notes clearly state efforts have been put towards "infinite storage" in terms of GDrive. In September I ran across compelling evidence (http://blogs.zdnet.com/Google/?p=3) that suggests a product by this name was either in the works, or at least being considered — at that time it was nothing more than speculation. Now, according to these notes it isn't far from reality.http://blogs.zdnet.com/Google/?p=121

Does this compete with the GRaid?

I like FolderShare's (http://www.foldershare.com) approach more. One of your computers has the files, you can search your computer using the Foldershare web site, and you can download the via your browser.

That way, a 3rd party is not physically hosting my files.

I'm definitely not a fan of having my files on Googles servers. I wil not even consider using this service.

Ugh. :(

I wouldn't want my confidential stuff on there, but I wouldn't mind putting my design files and music.

I wouldn't mind using it as a backup facility for my hard drive but like some of you guys say I wouldn't have any delicate info on there
