Seems AMD is kicking Intels butt in every way possible, now all that I'm waiting for is Dell using AMD when that happens I will actually consider purchasing a Dell for personal use.

I too am really looking for Dell to at least branch to AMD and Intel afterall they are not contracted to intel or windows given that.

AMD have come on masses in the last 5 years and its good to see that big companies are starting to stray away from intel and go to AMD...its good news for consumers and the like :)

They chose Intel because the false sense of superiority people think Intel has over AMD.

Too bad for Mac users :-/

Core Duo is better than Turion, from what I hear - and the main reason why apple switched from IBM in the first place was because IBM was unable to give them a high performance mobile processor. So, it made sense to go with the leader in the laptop space.

Well I havent seen an Core Duo vs Turion review so I really cant say which s best, according to this (http://techreport.com/reviews/2006q1/pentiumm-vs-turion64/index.x?pg=1) review they both seem to be quite evenly matched unless your gonna do some video and 3d in that case turion blows Intel out of the water again and in power consumption the turion on idle consumes less than the intel on idle so it all depends.

I'm looking forward to AMD Dual Core Turions coming out this year and seeing how they fare against the core duo.
