i had this problem with PHP and it drived me crazy!! but when i open my test.js in/on my server it ask me to download the page

Umm, you're linking to a .js file, of course it'll download:/

haha achually it wont :):):):) its IE it works fine in firefox try it in firefox you get a code which im trying to work

that is becuz firefox is better ... IE doesnt have a built in viewer for that extension so it asks the user to download it so they can view it w/ something else. Just like if you click on a *.css with IE it won't open in the browser like FF does
