I am applying for a job that utilizes the program Ulead Cool 3D Studio and I learned it in only a month and a half. The job description is as follows:
Computer graphics (3D Studio modeling software)
Job Number: 26683
Salary:
Application Deadline: 5/1/2003
Work Location: Calgary
Hours per week: 40-20
Number of Openings: 1
Position Type: Full Time / Part Time
Listing Date: March 4, 2003
3d modeling using 3D Studio software. This is an entry level position. No experience required, but must know how to use 3D Studio.
The question is: Will I get the job? Please visit my site and click on the Ulead Animations page under the Miscellaneous section. Be patient and allow the animations to load. I tried to make them as small as I possibly could.
Please Note: If you are going to vote that I need some work, then please explain why.

Ok, well, 2 people have said I needed work. What would those 2 people suggest I do to improve? Please don't just vote and not say anything to explain why.

I voted you need to improve, I saw your work, and it was pretty solid, I said you need to improve because of how your objects interact with the environment. Like the jeep goin over the bump terrain.. it doesn't bump at all, just drives smoothly over it.. doesn't look realistic.
On the other hand, I really liked the bumble bee/butterfly one, it would be better if the bees wings went fast although

i voted you need some work. You animations are alright, your modelling looks to be fine, just that your animation skills might not be there. Like 28 said the jeep should drive on a terrain, not on a 2d image, also try to make the wheels spin. And the spaceship one, jets are suppose to be blowing out from the back of the ship. I agree that the bee/butterfly one looks pretty good, although you need adjust the speed and some more motion to your characters. Give them life, every little detail makes a difference in animation.
