custom 404 images

The title says it all, can I somehow have a custom 'image missing' 404 image ? (like the 'page not found')

I can edit my .htaccess but not the apache options.

Have you got somthign liek cpanel for your website, if so you can edit the pages in that. Also i think theres a tut, on how to do it with htaccess on this site.

it must be set manually in config files.

as far as I can remember it had to be set in PHP's config and not apach's

what i meant is that I cannot configure the server farther than the htaccess file. So I cannot configure php nor apache (i only own a subdomain, very nice for what it costs = $0)
