Lifted:Media [Alpha Release v1.1]

I have a meeting with a designer at a company I may be working for in the future need something done for this tuesday. Finishing a beta version by monday. I plan on updating this over the weekend and posting updates here.

The basic flash layout and HTML layout are all complete.
All content is underdevelopment.

I'm looking for critique on the design mostly. Thanks.

I like it alot, well done. Good design.
One thing I dont like, is the red on the left side. It
takes to much attention from the content. Maybe it would be
more balanced with another "red border" on the right side.

i like the red, actually. very nice! but i think it's a bit too dark

very nice - one thing, which i would say would do it a ton of difference, would be to make it drastically larger....it'd widen the scope for you when filling it with content. You don't wanna be lumbered by a cutsie site that looks good - yet its a pain to update. I know making it larger would mean more or less of a total overhaul - but i see it being worth it.
