It doesn't look like pixel art, and the plot size is weird :hitman2:

Try drawing the statue of liberty using some of the tutorials mentioned in the guidelines. I'm sure that will end up looking better than something that looks like a vectorized bitmap ;)

Is it a vectorized version of this photo?

This photo is taken by helicopter so the angles would be really hard to reproduce exactly in another photograph. They seem to match perfectly.

I agree with Kirupa, it is a great idea to do the Statue of Liberty, but you should draw it your self. There is nothing against using that photo for reference.

When I first looked at it I was about to bow down to the pixel king. Guess you got found you. Can't rip buddy.

I just thought that I would let you know that I am not trying to discourage you from going along with the statue of liberty idea. Personally I think it would be a great addition to kirupaville, but you just have to spend some time drawing it, which I think, with a little bit of practice, would not be too hard.

Hope to see some renovation going on :D!

Um. lol its at a completely different angle, AND its not pixelated.. :P it doesnt look close.. hahah

anyway- work the image pixel by pixel- you could even trace the thing and refine it as you go- adding in highlights etcC:-)
