You aren't allowed to add paths. Does nobody read the rules/guidelines?

i searched the main thread, it doesn't say anything about paths...

Can you show me where in the guidelines it says that? It might be from an earlier version of the guidelines, and I can remove that line :)

Nice work- may I suggest ya maybe do something to the text on the window- to me it looks a little distorted- and blue is hardish on the eyes ;)
keep up the nice work

I decided it looks better without the gradient type fade on the highlighted edges, but I'm still not sure about the roof-top thing... :stunned:
Three updates in 10 mins ... Phew lol

There is a link from the kirupa Main page (KirupaLab>Kirupaville>The second of the 4 links below 'remove frames'
Here are some simple guidelines to ensure plot approval and keep you from scrapping hours of hard work...
1. Stay in the template!
Do not add a sidewalk, road, or go into the transparent areas of the file.
2. Do not change the size of the template.
Your file must be the same size to ensure that it will load in the right location
3. No animated gifs.
Submit your piece as a static gif or a png.

Ok I took away the sidewalk as I see now that it is not allowed, I also added a brick wall which I shall probably later add some grafiti to =)
EDIT- I also fixed the proportion on the car spaces

That smily on the window isn't in perspective, it stares straight at you while it should face in the same direction as teh window.
Otherwise pretty neat! It still has lot's of potential!

Yes! That would be me!
Lol, Mario Shunshine
I think it would be better if you made that graffiti a bit more transparant so you can see the texture of the wall.
Edit: the smily looks better now, it looks a tad crooked, but way better then the wrong perspectived one.

Ha I was wondering if anyone would notice that :sure:
Ok I'll see what I can do about the transparency but i dont know if the program I'm using has a transparency/alpha tool

You don't necessarily need to use transparency. You could just mimic the brick pattern, but using shades of red instead.

hehe theres an old movie, (from the 80s i think) called the Warriors, its a movie about gangs, and theres a gang called the warriors, they paint a W on the walls that was his tag, so i think it would be funny if you have one of the warriors painting a w on your wall :}
Greetings!!

hey, not to nitpick, but i just noticed that your building is outside the boundaries of the allowed plot size. kirupa may have to approve that. i'm not sure what the current policy is on that

February 24th, 2006, 01:45 PM
Because it would be easy for you to cut down the dimensions of the parking lot, you should fit your entry to the giant square plot size.

Er... ok I have never seen "warriors" so thats gonna be a bit hard
also sorry about the plot size it was only a few pixels so I thought it wouldn't matter  but ok I'll fix it :bandit:
