I don't know if the other guy has been keeping you up to date, but April's Animatrix episode has been out for awhile, and it's great.

Matrix is alsome...I saw that movie at least 5 times...purely amazing...the game is gonna be more of a Max Payne type...both is alsome...:)

The game trailer is pretty wild and shows a lot of clips from the new movie - not just the game, though the game looks pretty danm good sometimes too.

i liked max payne, even though it ripped off the matrix...they even alluded to it in one of the game scenes...you had to give a password at an alley door and the password was "john woo."

i think it will be more...no hand to hand in max payne unless you got that kung-fu mod...i think this will be a new start for movies and games

It's the first time ever that a game-based-movie will be released on the same day. Written and Directed by Andy and Larry is pretty wild, so you can expect an awesome game.

Too bad Squaresoft didn't join in on it, that's sort of disappointing.

They did Final Flight of the Osiris, and of course all the Final Fantasy games... they'd make some awesome FMV for a matrix game.

i don't like the way they are presenting the game, they make it seem like you must buy the game in order to actually full appreciate Matrix Reloaded....i see this as simply another way to make more $$$ and milk this as far as it can possibly go...

of course, thats thier job, but i'm not falling for it

I've rarely seen great movies make great games. For some reason, the time and quality the directors place in creating a great movie is desperately lacking in a game created from a good movie. I hope the Matrix game is different though.

On the other hand, great movies have been made out of good games such as Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy (I think that was a movie), etc.

The movie is great, but I don't think the game will go well with less rich people with p3 computers...I hear that the game is going to require a 64MB Video Card, 256MB minimal...etc...very advanced...:(

The matrix is ok.. but it's not on my list :)
I guess all those games based from a movie ended sucks, there were so many of them, ie LOTR etc etc

the first tomb raider movie is quite disappointing I guess, the storyline and everything are quite different from the game.

2.buying LOTR game and then inviting me over to play it!

The matrix has been three things to me:

1. Great movie: loved the idea and the style.

2. A pain in the arse: Blocked the road directly in front of my office one night as I was wanting to go home after working late. Was not able to get out of the garage for 1 hour while they filmed some scene with no actors in it.

3. Excellent to see how they filmed it: Saw both the effects studio on their open day, and watched as the filming helicopter flew very low BETWEEN the corporate buildings in my street filming for the movie one night. That was awesome. The pilot must have been great. Wonder what the insurance costs would have been for that ?!

Can't wait to see the new ones.

AAARGH! Tomb Raider is a very good game, but the movie sucks big time! Poor story, poor acting, poor everything. I won't watch it for a second time. It's junk.
The Final Fantasy movie is OK and well done. It has nothing to do with the game. So I've heard...

Final Fantasy is an OKAY movie.. the way it played out was kinda weak...

LITTLE scrawny, sneaky guy..

I am totally obsessed with the matrix, one time I was in a very boring class and I thought to myself 'Right now, Im sitting in a tub with tons of wires going in and out of my body making my brain think this is reality.' Also I watch ever Animatrix and Matrix trailer everyday! I watch them frame by frame to get hints on whats going to happen in the next movie(s). I also buy tons of stuff about it... I love that movie so so much :) If I could have the chance to leave the matrix, I would :)
