Soy Candle Website - Virtual Gallery

I was asked to add a virtual art gallery to this soy candle website. The original idea the client had was to have the individual candles on display - sitting on pedestals, etc. However, the photography was not consitent enough to pull that off so I came up with compromise - "paintings" of the candles.

Anyhow, let me know what you think.

the problem is this: it's a gallery of photos of candles, but you can't really see the candles. you can see a whole bunch of other stuff, but not really the candles.

in addition, the slow slow navigation makes it really frustrating to use.

use thee original pictures. try to get the lighting good instead of the paintings. same as bwh2, the nav is a bit slow

Thanks for the feedback. I noticed that it moves slow - it's significantly slower in a broswer than in the Flash Player. That's something I need to address.

In that regard, did you realize that you can click on the collection names along the bottom and proceed through the gallery much more quickly? If that's not obvious I should change that as well.

As far as using the original pictures is concerned - as I mentioned before, the photography (which I was provided with and had no direct control over) was not consistent enough to place them all in the same virtual environment. There are so many different sizes, angles, settings. Setting them up in a studio where they could be photographed consistently for this purpose would be helpful but I don't see that happening at this point.
