fscommand fullscreen on dual monitor OSX setup

hi all-
i just installed an ati radeon7000 32 bit graphics card into my G4 tower so i can run 2 monitors--what i want to do is have my small monitor serve as the desktop where i can control what is being viewed on the second monitor:

when the small monitor is set in the control panel as being the menu bar, then when a .swf or projector set to 'fullscreen' launches, it fills the screen on the small monitor but not the second monitor.

how can i set it so that whatever is launched from the small screen will appear in the second/larger monitor? (i want the menu bar and dock to be on the small monitor, so that it is hidden from view on the second monitor)

i know i can do this in javascript, but i'd like to keep it on the desktop without having to use a browser--any ideas on using the fscommand to set the xy coords, or somehow target the second monitor ? any system-level tips/hacks are definitely welcome!

As far as I know -
since your machine is what determines what displays are primary those settings more likely have to be done and lived with from the control panel...

On mine - my larger monitor is set infront of me and connected to the stock monitor port, the secondary screen to the ATI card and to my left on the desk ...
in control panel I *orient* the second monitor to the left of primary and then set my dock to left side position ...
all windows first open on the main screen by default and I need to drag them over to the left if wanted...
BUT - the menu bar and desktop icons remain on the main screen

...don't know of any other way to do what you want... if it is possible you'd likely have to hack your box to do that tweak

yes, my problem is that by changing the locale of the menu bar this has the effect of setting focus on that monitor--i think that you're right that it's going to have to be a system hack of some kind--thanks for the response!
