FIRST TIME: high or drunkeness or both

post your stories of your first time drunk/high experience.

booze: boring story first. first time i got drunk i was around 6 years old. while the adults wern't looking, i started sipping tequila. about a shot later i was cursing at my moms friends. i was heavy drunk.

herb: Many of you know http://www.deviantart.com , last August the CEO invited me and a group of other deviants to a big party down in garden Grove (California) (about a week after we had the first meet in Magic Mountain). I get to this part and say hi to everyone and start chugging ScrewDrivers. Soon after i was considereably drunk, and when i saw one of the admins of Devart take out his bong i knew i had to try this. I took about 6 huge rips from this Bong...didnt feel anything. I was kinda dissapointed...i watched everyone in the circle smoke.. SUDDENLY i realize that i keep staring at the corner of the wall and that i cant feel my feet. I start laughing uncontrolably and it feels like my body is in jacuzzi or something. i make my way over to the living room, All of the regular lights had been turned off and RED lights had been turned on. the whole world seems to be moving at 12 frames per second but my mind feels unaffected. this is kinda scary at first. because with booze everything goes stupid. But while high i could have regular thoughts..just a bit wacked out. I sat next to SPYED the CEO and began explaining to him what i was feeling...somehow i started rambling about black holes and i remember repeating the phrase " ITS LIKE FLASH!.. COPY, PASTE, OFF-SET, ALPHA! " i was really messed up. I went out to the back yeard and became scared that i was going to fall in the pool...everyones skin looked like it was glowing and I had pretty much lost my sense of time. Seconds were hours and minutes were like lifetimes. Shortly thereafter i drew all over some papers, wrote a letter to myself and came up with some theory i dont recall, ended up passed out sitting up in a chair. Good times indeed.

It was 24 years ago... I used to hang with My Mother's brother (18 yrs older than me) and his band of geeks (photographers, graphic artists, bums) quite a bit. We used to drink Jack Daniels on weekends (never on a school nite), and one nite, out back with my g/f & his current live-in... a joint laced with Hashoil was passed around.

Lets just say there are still a few incriminating photos laying around somewhere in a scrapbook that I would love to get back and destroy. One is of me lying on the sofa, passed out, covered in Jack Daniels bottles... All you can see are my feet, my head, and one arm. They even put a cig in my mouth!

Moral:

Stay awake during parties...

<b>herb:</b> it was my boyfriend's 21st b-day party in his apartment. there were a lot of people there, outside and inside. i had been drinking red wine all evening and was quite drunk. then i went outside and saw one of my friends firing up a bowl. i knew i had to try it. i didn't feel anything at first, but then everything became really slow and really really funny. definately felt like i was floating or something.

DRUNK: my sisters wacko friend brought a water bottle filled with vodka over. tey went out i was thirtsy or seomthing and i drank a sip. my throat constricted. my firedn took a sip said "hey this is beer" so we drank it, not nearly nough, not even half a bottle. about 1/3 bwtween us. but messed us up pretty good.
this was a good wqhile ago. i was i think 10 or 11

I was like 10 and my older sister came up with thsi brillian plan for throwing a party while my mother was away. Get me and my other sister trashed and we cant say anything.

Weed:

Shortly after that I was in eigth grade.

alchy-hall: dad used to give it to me as a todler... I dont ever remember being drunk then, though I never really became much of a drinker - maybe because of that. Ive only been sick from drinking once - thrown up once - and that was from whisky. Nasty stuff there. Me and a friend at his house one night playing cards and getting drunk. Pretty pathetic, but commonplace at that age I suppose (late high school). Didnt take much whisky to make me want to spew. And when I did, it all came out. Yum :) Since then I've mostly stuck to Vodka. I dont drink much but when I do its pretty much vodka. Thats easy to take and doesnt kill me nearly as much.

mary-jane: never have, probably never will. I have a lot of poor paranoid burned-out friends and they dont make me want to anymore.

together the two can be pretty crazy. I was with this girl in college and she could drink vodka like a fish (she was russian, go figure) and smoked every now and then, but only once did I see her drink and smoke, and let me tell you, that messed her up a somethin fierce. I had my hands full that night. She, of course, cursed me for it in the morning, "Why did you even let me?!?!?" Though despite my warnings at the time she continued with the whole "Its a party, let me do what I want - Im here to have fun" deal. You know how that is, and Im not going to be the jerk to screw it up for anyone, including her. lol she was out of it though... talking about bricks and how they were like the universe. She was completely out of it and barely on her feet but had this 'profound enlightened' state of mind. Im glad I was sober and am now able to recall and enjoy the memories of that night :)

I remember gettin drunk for the first time - actually there were a hell of a lot of girls at a party (it was because we just all had a real exciting trip in Tchekoslovakia and just felt like hanging around)..... we decided to finish off all the booze we had bought back in Prague (btw if you get a chance to go in europe goooo there it's an amazing city)...
So we were all hanging around a pool, a nice huge house with nobody in the neighboorhood. We started making 2 space cakes and funky ****tails (i guess we were just interested in the colors, otherwise they were disgusting in the beginning) and finally got around a huuge table with 75+ bottles of alcohol, including absinth and all the most foul alcohol i ever tasted in my life... I actually didnt notcie we were drinking that bad until three of us went with clothes on in the pool...
By the time we had eaten the space cakes and I don't know if this or the disgusting absinth had killed me, but I was kissing my mates (uuuuuhh..) and trying to make a dog dance - he ended up in the pool, harmless stupid creature....
At 11 we all went skinny dipping (we were 30 or so) in the pool and i remember wearing a girls thong and how bad it felt and i slipped on the poolside and was just too wasted to move...
I guess we all threw up later on - and took us more than 2 days to recover from the brainfog and alcohol...

Great party though, I hope many more will come like that....

IN colombia my friends and i Downed 3 bottles of tequila then went hardcore partying. a few us ened up on the sidewalk puking our stomacs out. i remember the cab ride home felt like the tea cup ride at disneyland. being stoned and going to a good restaurant kicks ***. booze: Oh God I can't even remember, started when I in 8th grade at a party. I used to get wasted with alcohol twice a week, but not much anymore, realized it was affecting too much in my life and I didn't want to become an alcoholic. I still drink but only once every week or two and I don't remember my first, but I do remember my last, my birthday weekend (last saturday night/sunday morning) with my girlfriend and some friends at a hotel prom party.

herb: Freshman year with some football friends after we just passed our drug test and wanted to get baked. I have been clean for about two months and plan on keeping it that way at least until the summer when I go to Cancun.

choche: Also known as cocaine. My first time was about 6 months ago, I needed a better high so I felt like trying it out, got addicted and continued until about 2-3 months ago when I quit everything. A word of advice, don't get stuck into it, ever, I spent $100-200 a week to buy a drug that could have ruined my life or killed me, enough said, the high isn't worth it!

PK: Also known as pain killers. 2 weekends ago I shared a morphine patch with 2 friends. I started freshman year with perkaset (sp?). I will always do those, I just love them!

Pills.....don't like any of them. Just make me tired.

E: .....did a one to many times. Won't ever touch it again. But it was nice and fun.

LSD scares me... I mean I dont do drugs but I know a lot of people who do and Im often the one looking after them. This one guy (I actually dont know him too well but I like using him as an example) constantly has a kid on a tricycle following him around... like when hes driving, he'll constantly be looking in the rvm looking for this kid on the tricycle (which of course doesnt exist). Hes so paranoid and his flashbacks are sometimes friggen scary. He doesnt trip anymore - hes too paranoid to. I know having a guy follow me around on a tricycle all the time would seriously freak me out.

Movies in school and information in school is always outdated,exaggerated and sometimes completely unfounded. Ofcourse i dont dissagree with it because i think u guys need to be scared. But i dont like the ways they do it. Our whole society centers around FEAR and this is why we always overeact to everything. have u ever seen bowling for columbine? Japan only had 39 gun related murderes last year, brittain 200+, canda 139. U know how many the US had?... over 11 thousand. 10 years old - parents party...besides the regular bar, there was a punch bowl full of what they called "moonJuice" a suicide concoction with different juices and way more and varied bottles of distilled types o alcohol ... they put me in charge of ladeling out the cups for the folks...I don't remember much from there.

about 12 I think, a friend of mine just bought a $10 "can" (about an ounce) and we rolled up half of it into a cigar with tissue paper. We got about half way thru it and everything was like I was in an old flickery silent movie but in color-more like in a real old cartoon, the sidewalk moved under my feet like a conveyor belt... I smoked for many years after that but never got as high as that day.

We did all kinds of psychadelics...too many ... there were not near as many acronym drugs as there are today, for which I am thankfull but still quite an assortment for the brain damage marathon clubbers. Biggest mistake I ever made was to ingest chemical substances for recreation. Today I can measure the differences in my ability to think coherently compared to when I was in my teens and twenties, though it did not seem so apparent until it was too late. Things that came easy then are an effort to even get a fundemental grasp on now.
Chemicals == :bad: ... Herbs in moderation == :love: =)

way beyon reason - Opiates:: Had some dabblings there but didn't go overboard :whistle: ... my first wife died from a Heroin OD, lost many friends too. thing about that crap is that if the drug don't kill you - the lifestyle will.
Now there's some new things out there that can easily take over your life and ruin you just as bad ... you have NO IDEA how easily the line can get crossed before you realise that you're in too deep (if you ever do realise).

Save your brain - Save your life ... DON'T DO CHEMICAL DRUGS

Id like to take this time to tell everyone to drive safely too. Ive lost a lot of good friends in car accidents - its insane really. Right around the end of highschool and a few years after that was the worse - someone I knew died almost every two months or so - its insane. I havent had any friends OD on me or die of anything drug related though *knock on wood*. A few lawful interventions and some jail time but nothing life threatening

There was this car acident near my house, this guy was going 110 on the ave. he hit a car full speed, i think the combined speed was 175. I heared it, after the huge bang, it was silent. Me and my dad called 911, and ran up the street to see what we could do to help. When we got there, the cars where fulley engulfed in flames, the SUV was fliped on its side. 3 cars total, 2 people died. They both got decapitated. THe cops covered the car with a red blanket to block the bad image that was in clear view of everyone there. The sad part of this is that the guy that was stoned and drunk, lived. :(

1. Requiem for a dream should be shown ion every school and replace the current Helth Drug units.

2. STAY THE HELL AWAY from chemical drugs. NOT GOOD AT ALL.

Marijuana is a drug, yes, but the THC molecule looks like ginger beer in comparison to alcohol and nicotine. I think the stupidest thing in the worls is to send people people to jail for possesion on marijuana. Obviously you shouldnt be driving and on weed( i have friends that drive while high and im ok with it because they drive safer when stoned, hard to believe but its true, they dont take the driving risks they usually take) but seriously, send people to jail? come on!. Im not too shure if it should be legal but i think it should definatly be decreminalized for home use. Why should the gov't send me to jail for smoking a plant in my own house? Marijuana is illegal because Hemp would have thrown the cotton business into a bankruptcy. This isnt some "pot" head propaganda because i believed this b4 i ever smoked. I did research on it once for school and i saw that half the stuff they tech you are lies and crap. THC is almost harmless, of course it should only be used by responsible adults. Im sick of these "pot" ads on TV. this is crap, Im gonna get a girl pregnant when stoned? WTF? imapared judgement?...the only thing weed leads to is a bag of potato chips. The difference is that weed never really was 'legal' like alcohol was/is... but you're right, whether its legal or not doesnt stop it from happening, and jail is only a repercussion of that being the law it is.

Then again the differences in sentances for different acts of violence or crimes is just crazy. I dont understand it half the time.

I use the term *drug* loosely as many things are technically drugs (ie:caffiene, my favorite== ChristianCrank) but don't really fit into the common perception of drugs per~se.

Pot has been given a bad rap and now is opposed by the alcohol industry as well (competition ?). I'd much rather deal with a world full of pipe smokin' happy campers than droolling stumbling and argumentative as*holes. :!:

I don't fully understand the mechanics of addiction but there is definately a large difference between *physiological* addiction and *psycological*... the later of which there are varying degrees of

Potatoe chips are addicting, as are forums, as is chocolate cake, as is Pot...

Drugs like Heroin become like oxygen... go without it and you have a convulsive physical reaction ... of course you don't die from the withdrawl - but you feel and believe you will and therefore MUST HAVE IT and will do whatever it takes to get it

Actually I have never Drank excessivly, ive never been drunk, i only started drinking once i turned 21.. I have never done drugs (except Tylenol) and Im proud of it =)

hmm.. interesting topic. I guess I can incriminate myself now since I've not done anything serious in a long time and recently stoped the doobs.

Alcohol ~ Went to see Vanhallen, got a contact high at the stadium, drank half a case of beer and puked everywhere. When you're not used to the stuff, don't mix alcohol and pot.. very bad scene.

Pot ~ Though I got that contact high, I didn't really smoke the stuff for quite a few years. I had been looking for ages for a contact but was unsuccessful until senior year in high school. I was trying to get into the pants of my manager from Crazy Eddies (I was 18 what do you want??!!). I came over to her apartment on campus one night and saw a bunch of plants. It was then that she told me that she was supplying half the campus with premo buds. That night I had sex for the third time in my life, high for the first time. Good times.

LSD ~ I absolutely wont do this stuff any more. I know biologists and chemists and various other scientificaly minded people who have convinced me that pure LSD causes no substancial or lasting damage to the body.. but the fact is you can't get pure LSD these days unless you make it yourself. (and I don't want that recipe:P) Most of the time you'll have at least some arsenic in the batch. So.. no more for me. However there was a time when I was doing Mesq, or LSD once every couple of months. They were good experiences that I would not change for anything.
First time was at my 22nd birthday party. A couple of friends knew I was interested in the experience and brought some with. The experience is not really something that is easily describable.

Other than that I've stayed away from drugs. I have a very adictive personality.. I know if I tried something like coke I'd like it too much and I'd spend all my money on it, so.... I've never bothered to try them. Gateway my hindside.. pot is not a gateway.. personality is.

anyway.. nothing really fascinating to tell I suppose.. probebly pretty similar experiences as anyone else has had.

addiction comes from a variety of things. The most common addiction for these substances is physical which relates to nerve endings in the brain. These receptors of various pain and pleasure sensations of the body, are tricked by the substance into believing that they are active.. giving a pleasure response in most cases. The reason it's addictive is that one's receptors become accustomed to a certain amount of the chemical, so as time goes on, the body reacts less and less to the same amount of the chemical. Then, if the substance stops being used, the body goes haywire with a lack of the chemical reaction.

The adiction to pot is psychological for the most part, but no less serious. In that case, the person becomes used to the feeling during various activities and without the substance usually feels apathetic about life, and unable to perform those same tasks. Pot will also stop psychological developement to a great degree. If taken while the subject is young, they will end up stunting both social skills, and mental aptitude. It's not that there is damage to the brain, as soon as you stop, the developement continues.. but it is much harder for an adult to develope mentaly than it is a child. Hence my strong belief that people who are still in the developement stages of their lives should not do drugs in general.

ah well.. I've babbled enough for one night. Just remember kids.. stay clean, these are the days to enjoy being young, living life, there are years ahead of you in which to make such choices.. and I assure you that they are serious choices to make.

but in comparison to needing it like oxygen - withdrawl would more than likely not cause death, just a reasonable faccimile thereof :!: and you'd certainly *feel* like you were dying.

Very good point about *addictive personalities* ... these are people who would be more inclined to abuse whatever they allowed themselves to become fond of ...
explaining while there are soooo many people who can moderately use the Herb without adversely disrupting their lives....
But then again there are those who go apeSh*t and shirk all responsibilities for the sake of it and the first thing that is blamed is the substance ...
these people could get lost on alcohol, food, sex (Imean in the extreme life disrupting degree) or anything else that comes along.

DRUNK : 7 or 8, drank too much wine from a glass sitting all lonely on the table, got unexpectedly drunk off my *** while watching dracula! ^_^ HAHA im buzzed rite now.

HIGH: I was like 15 and yawn.deviantart.com told me that he busted out his made art when he was high, so i decided to give it atry with my friends, and i still couldn't draw for crap! Didn't get a good high cause it was my first time. :/ But it led to some good times. ^_^

BOTH (aka Cross Faded): Went to a party and got drunk off my *** on beer than got the **** kicked out of me cause i laughed at a guy pissing on his own house, the i went to my friends house and our friend showed up with a big *** bag of weed. Good memories of that nite. ^_~

oooooooo yeah same here... M&Ms especially. I think the fact that they're so small contributes to that. I cant have just one - it wont happen. If I dont eat about 2-3 bags at once I have a continuous craving for them :!:

I drank occasionally during hs, but I didn't start drinking seriously until I got to MIT. I was there the summer before my freshman year, and I got invited to a rooftop party at a frathouse that overlooks the Charles River. This was on the 4th of July, too. I had like 6 beers, 3 screwdrivers, and a bunch of jello shots. I was kinda tipsy when a stealth bomber did a fly by... it was so freaking surreal. I was messed up by the time the fireworks started, and it seemed like they were coming straight at me when they exploded. The next thing I remember there was a girl talking to me, and she walked away, and all of a sudden my friends were giving me condoms and telling me "go man!", and I was just like "what the hell's going on?" To this day I don't know what happened afterwards...

High: and I mean REALLY high.

I smoked pot during the party after graduation, but it didn't do anything for me. Then the summer before college I went with some of my friends looking for weed. We ended up at harvard randomly asking people if they knew were we could find some. We met this skinny black dude, and he told us he could hook us up with some stuff. So he called a guy up, and he brought his car over, and we just got into the guys car. The dude we met and this new dude started arguing, and the second dude took out a knife - while he was driving... I was about to crap my pants. We got to the guy's place, bought some weed, but it was in the middle of nowhere, and he didn't want to give us a ride back... We took a cab back to harvard, and we found a little park where we could smoke... we bought some black and milds, and used the wrapper to wrap our weed. We noticed a lot of cops in the area, but we were drunk as hell, and we just smoked it right there... we started walking back, and we realized there was a freaking cop station right accross from where we were smoking.

But that really didn't do anything for me.

I finally got high like 3 months ago. I went to a friends place and he had some stuff that he hadn't smoked in like 6 months, so we decided to smoke it finally... it was out of a bowl, and I was just cracking up all the time... it's true about weed giving you the munchies... I ate a lot that night.

Never smoked anything, but had a few drinks once or twice. :) Couldn't really handle it until I went to University.

The first time I ever got properly drunk would have been in the Student Union... I remember dancing with a group of friends... Then not much else until getting chatted up by some bloke, getting annoyed, and punching him in the jaw. :blush:

I have never had a drink, nor have I smoked/used a chemical substance... I worked as a Fire Fighter/Paramedic for three years untill I blew out my knee and could not do it anymore without reconstructive surgury. Having seen the things I have was enough to convince me that I did not want to try these things out... Besides I have a real issue with losing control, I am not a control freek, but I like to have my wits about me. =0) Not that I have a problem with people who do. It was sort of odd in high school, most of my friends would smoke up/drink quite a bit, but it never bothered me. I figured it was their choice what they wanted to do, so I never ripped on them for what they did, and they never tried to pressure me into anything. Worked out well I think. =0)

I am: 16
first time: At school camp Some kid brought some. He and me and 2 girls Smoked it up. THe best time of my life. :p it was fun. Sinds then I have been smoking reguarlly.
Smoke Sigarets: Never have, maybe that's strange. But Smoking pot is health-ier then sigarets.
