View Full Version : AnimationSite in Flash MX

First time I 've done Flash... Learned a lot by testing out (like a soundbutton, levels, etc...)

Actually it's a schoolproject that should handle about movies...
So I started thinking and I decided to create a "virtual" Theatre...
Design and FlashCode was my job and the PHPCode (since the FlashMovie is connected to a database) is from a friend of me...

I hope U like my drawings and so on...

BTW, I am sorry, but the site is in Dutch, but there isn't much text at all in it, mostly animated doors and arrows where U can click on to browse around the Chambers Of The Theatre...

its cool very cool!

But - its more than 3 MB big ! and I think its not that good for a "low connection" user good I use cabel !

I like your "cartoon" work and its cool ! the mainmenu its cool to !
When I enter your site I think of a THEATER SITE ! not personal site but a Theater site !

That's why I will upload a smallband version too (Already there but is empty ;))... First I completely finish the broadband and then I 'll up the smallband... 3 MB is due to the avi in the room that is titled "Cinema(Zaal)", the room where U actually see the movies :)
Thanx 4 the good comments...

Perhaps this: I DO have a problem and that's what I call a cache-bug in Flash... If U open the section "Reviews" or "Previews" (which is another level), I have to press the "Next"-button twice to actually get to see something (text comes from a database, dynamic load)... Anyone knows the problem and/or a solution? (I know the problem and I know a solution, but that's 4 text in the same level, but those "PopUp"sections are another level)...
Same thing 4 dynamically loading a picture in a PicHolder... Have 2 press twice...

Thnx anyway...

I noticed someone voted "It Sucks"... Good 4 me if he/she likes to tell why he/she did it, so I can keep his/her comments in mind to do better next time...

Without the avi-file it's about 730 Kb :) ...
