Hey Kirupians,
I've noticed recently that many folks are posting sites in Kool Sites that have been posted before. So I wanted to remind everyone to use the handy dandy "search this forum" button to search for a site before making a thread about it. Don't forget to modify your search to search from the beginning, not just the last two months of threads.
Thanks :hr:

why not link (http://www.kirupa.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=55&nojs=1#goto_forumsearch) to it in the post?

can we sticky something like this to the flash 8 forum? Please, some beginners are annoyingly lazy and won't even search their topic in an attempt to learn.

This would be a lot easier if you could just search for the URL of the site you are about to post. I had thought this issue had been addressed (http://www.kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=260952) (http://www.kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=260952%29), but it seems that links still aren't being included in searches :(

search results are unclear as result of the original poster posting the link address (which is not picked up by the search) therefore to help the search it's always good to post a text line of the same address without www or http (so it does not become a link automatically) and therefore be picked up in the search with no issues.
some sort of posting structure could help to rid of these future annoyances.

there should be like a tag which shows the search box... it would be so handy, especially for those fav icon questions :tired:

Hi there
Afew years ago, I came across a very cool website and I want to find it again. The intro contained a little metallic cute alien with little antennas and the very cool thing is that his actions depended on how you moved your mouse over (or under) him. If you rapidly moved the mouse from right to left to him, he would quickly shift to the left...if you rapidly moved the mouse under his feet he would jump...if you did your mouse moves gently then his moves where gentle. Does anyone know of this website?? I THINK that it has neoplast in the name but I'm not sure and I have not found anything surfing for it lately. Thanks for your help.
