Stickmen Tutorial

Anyone know of any good stickmen tutorials? Or know of any good sites which have stickmen on?

I need to create a romantic stickman and woman scene.

Well i'm a traditional animator- so stickmen are like fkign easy for me. I am goign to do a video tute on it when my site is up so be sure to have a look ;)

Well im pretty hand in Flash but ive never really looked at stick figures before. My friend wants me to make a relatively short flash animation with stick figures, for his 1 year anniversary with his girlfriend.

He would like the two stick figures to run towards each other, like those slow motion love scenes (very sad I know ). They run about almost half way when the guy trips over on some object, like a rock. And the girl goes keekee (laughs) and points at him. Then he becomes red and she comes over and goes "there there" and puts a big bandage over his head. Then she gives him a kiss on the forehead.
I should be charging him for this. How much would you get if you created this for someone who was paying?

Well it depends on how good an animator you are- Usually freelance animators get payed a flat rate- but with web animators.. they don't really have the real skills of timing and spacing- so you'd usually in a situation like this needs to show some previous work. Well what kind of animation fo ya do?

amateur or is it ur profession?

I'd say about 50 buck for something as simple as a stick figure film hahaha

Im a multimedia computing student so I don’t count myself as a professional and im more into web & graphic design then Flash.
Anyway I’ll see what I can come up with.
