I love doing face mixing! If you look at my website( www.twinharmony.com ), the first 5 images in the "Random" section are face mixes. I actually made a myspace for the first one. He's called TurtleFace: http://www.myspace.com/turtleismyface
Easiest way: take two faces, prefably taken with the same camera under the same lighting conditions, expresion etc, and put them on two seperate layers.
Set the opacity on the top one to fifty% (so you can see), and line up the eyes. Use free transform(ctr+t) to get the faces the same size. (I usually line up the eyes and lips or eyes and bottom of the chin)
Set the opacity back to 100%, and put a layer mask on the top layer. (select the layer and hit the chinese flag looking thing at the bottom of the layer pallette)
Get descent size brush set it to zero hardness and about 10% flow. And start brushing in the layer mask with black (make sure you're in the layer mask and not the image)
Doing this kinda thing is great if you have a wacom tablet. Set the opacity to pen pressure and go.
You should be able to figure it out from there.
Heck, if you give me the images I might do some myself. Just cause I enjoy doing it. It's amazing how many combinations you can get out of just two people. I've even done, 5 people blended.
Have fun!
