Nice idea to Half Vector, it looks very good and you can leave the blur alone.

It looks alright, but makes me think of some PS filter (cutout? stamp?)

Thanks a lot for the comment :sure: and i would say i'm
sorry but u wrong about the filter......its a kind of vexel art...u should have a lot of patience to do a thing like this. But it could be very interesting if there is a plugin to create a filter like that in PS !!! :rabbit:
If u would like to check some of vexel art go there http://www.vexels.net

It doesn't look like a filter to me, looks like hard work. I love it, nice concept :thumb:

any particular reason why you chose photoshop over illustrator to do this type of work?

That looks very sweet. I love the colours as well.
Is it just me or does this kind of stuff (including the vexel stuff) look like low-quality jpeg images?

Looks great!
Reminds me a bit of the convert to vector tool in Flash.

I think because it's a 'vexel'...
Check his link.
It looks nice! But maybe there's a little too much detail in it... But that could be my eyes as well :stare:

Sincerely no!.....Cause i usually use Adob PS for my pictures.

Cause i have never use it. :smirk:

When you import a image into Flash, there is some way to convert it to a bitmap. I never use Flash though, so I forgot how. (I think it's in modify, convert to vector, or something.)

I tried the trace bitmap in flash and i think that it could be useful for the choice of the right color for the shapes. But for the moment i dont think that it could be more helpful....Anyway a lot of thanks cause the choice of the right color is very hard for me during vexelling. Thanks really a lot ! :}

By the way, Illustrator is built for this sort of thing (vectors). It's a vector art app…

I think it would look better without the brushing/gradients. Keep it flat colours. especially since you're using photoshop which means that all that brushing is raster, which undermines the point of it being vector. I'd like to see you keep going with this piece and finish the girl, if nothing else finish the hair. Good work!

ok i will try it ! ;) thanks again!
jnstevens87
Well i alredy tried to do it without gradient color but the result wasnt so good cause the child has got a particoular skin colour.
About the hair i will adjust it cause sincerely i think that its doesnt looks so good in fact if u look at it better u will see the net detach from the real to the vectorized side. But anyways thanks a lot ! :) :rabbit: :D
