poser 6 playaround

Just playing around with poser 6 by Curious labs. Using it here at work and just amazed at how much better the application is now since last I used it (version 4)..,its got hair creation tools, material tools, better morphs and some nifty dynamics for hair/ clothes.

With a little photoshop retouching that could almost look real

Sweet, I can imagine how hard it is to place so many keys to have such morphs possible in 3d packages... Poser is a tad like the sims character creator (which is amazing btw!)

i do have to agree that it looks pretty good though. I have poser 5 and the people always looked horible.

last one.. well for now.. lol.. gave him a soul patch.

not as good as the rest but those other two i found were actually hi-res models and i rendered them pretty high settings, this one is a default character with a wierd facial expression that i cant explain what its meant to be..lol..enjoy.


:: regarding the 'cheating'.. i as well believed that using apps like this was cheating back in the days but when time and money comes into the picture, for simple character posing with quick turnaround this app is heaven sent..

there was a post a while ago about a artist and her previous work of a dude in poser with post production work, like a close up on a blonde guy (you can see it in her gallery).. well her latest work, looks amazing i must say.
