Transparent backgrounds for a jpeg in flash

I was making a character for a game in photoshop elements.
When the file was brought into flash it has a white background. whats the best way to remove it? ill attach a swf. file so you can see it. post if u need a fla. thanks

what format did u save them?
i think that psd and gif will work with transparent things

in photoshop, use the magic wand, and problem solved :)
