I just noticed that the color picker in my photoshop 7 changed to this. How do i get it back to the original gradient one? The one where the bottom is black, top left corner is white, left side is greyscale, and the whole thing is one colour but with different shades. This one is really hard to find colours.

click on the radio button next to 'H'.. which stands for 'Hue', s = saturation , b = brightness , and obviously RGB, red /green/blue. ;)

oh my god. i just realized how hard it is to draw a triangle in photoshop. Took me about 15 minutes trying to draw it with the pen tool, then filling stuff in, only to realize that a small trangle about 10x10px looks like it's been humped by a cactus. So then I had to use flash to draw a vector one (with lines and rotation of lines - less than 15 seconds). Damn it I hope Adobe doesn't screw up Flash.

umm you can easily draw a triangle. select the square vector tool, draw a square then pick your white arrow tool (point select tool) and delete on of the top points, then move that top point to the center (you can use the rulers to snap to or grid) ;)
and for any purpose that you may need to close the path of the triangle (since you basically deleted a side-meaning the shape is not complete) you select your pen tool, go over the top point... notice the pen tool now has a circle indicating a open or unclosed point, select it then go down to the other point (based on the side you deleted the original point at (bottom left or bottom right) and click on that to complete the shape)

hmm i dunno if they have this feature in photoshop 7. But i think its possible.
just use the polygon tool which is located under the rectangle vector tool and then change the number of sides in the bar( at the top ) to 3.
Then draw the polygon and youve got urself a vector triangle.

in illustrator yeah but not photoshop, which i will drop a tut on that as well. dosent need it but i will do a quick side tutorial so to say you can quickly do it in illustrator and drop that in photoshop.
oh wait, yeah your right.. not sure if thats in v7 but definitly a easier way to do it.

Polygon draw tool > Set sides to 3 and draw! What's so difficult about a triangle in PS? I think, Adobe is actually doing justice to Flash by taking over MM. PS RULZ!!!
