Besides re-creating it in Illustrator, if the jpg is high enough res you could make selections of it with the wand tool then export those paths to illustrator. Could you post what the logo looks like?

if you have illustrator, livetrace
if you have flash, tracebitmap

I was gonna suggest streamline, but then I remembered that Adobe stopped doing it, it's now livetrace in illustrator ;)

It would be best to re-create the logo in illustrator or freehand so you have a vector piece of art.

What is this LiveTrace? It automatically vectorizes any logo?

Livetrace uses colors and contrast and such to assume a path. It's decent for quick jobs but shouldn't be used for anything professional unless you have a really clean high res starting image (even then, still not the best idea).

Livetrace is at least 3 releases from being functional enough to be passed off in professional work, but it is a start.

If your decent with curves you can Livetrace then adjust the curves by hand.
