actually, in all honesty, i was mocking this thread: How Many Million In A Billion?? (http://www.kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=203274)
not sure if you read that one, but it was insanely stupid too, and i like to make myself laugh...heck i'm about to pass out right now

if you were mocking it you should have made the title "how many skittles in a billion"
My goal there was for the title to not make any sense, but i failed

Now....
Is a skittle a chocolate? I think so... Not sure.
And wouldn't it be obvious that if 1 skittle counts as 1 then wouldn't a billion be 1x10^9 skittles?
If the billion you are refering to is not the numeric value, but a package of some sort, then the number of skittles is due to the weight of the package and not by number.
To figure out the average number of that object in the package just do the math.
Measure the weight of say 20 of the object make the average weight and divide the weight of the package by the one of the average skittle.
Round the resulting number up and then round it down and that is the average number of skittles you have in that package.
Easy!
As a last note.
This must be a very stupid thread, but curiosity is needed for growth so it shouldn't be deleted. At least not until it gets totally stupid and moronic.
Guess thats now! Huh?!:D:krazy:
